Brainwave Optimization with RTB® (Real Time Balancing) is a novel, computer-guided technology and process that can be best described as a highly precise and polished, sound-based, “brain mirror.” Use of this mirror for any individual is intended to support a deeply relaxed and meditative state, of a kind that was not possible before the advent of advanced computing. In this relaxed state, we observe the brain can better take care of itself or “self-optimize.” It is essentially a way of letting your brain see how it is operating, on its own terms, in a manner that allows it to self-correct and auto-calibrate to perform more optimally. As your brain optimizes itself, there will often be residual effects for greater health and well-being, both subtle and profound.
Ample research points out the negative effects of stress and trauma on health. Acute trauma, or chronic accumulation of stress, can contribute to adverse experiences for health and performance. Stress and trauma can produce many challenges for afflicted individuals. Importantly, the brain is the organ that manages the effects of stress on our well-being. This fact raises an important question. How can the brain be best supported to optimize the activity of its stress response system? Research has shown that stress-management techniques, including meditation, can impact brain functionality and well-being. Yet many of these techniques require extensive training to be useful, and efficacy may be limited when a stress or trauma has been profound.
Here is the juncture where Brainwave Optimization (BWO) supplies a highly sought and vital need. Owing to its precision and speed, the technology and process facilitates the attainment of the positive effects of the above-mentioned techniques with essentially no effort and learning curve on a participant's behalf. Ultimately, during the process, personalized exercises will be evolved to help balance and optimize your brain, thus creating a more “whole-brain” individual. However, little to no volitional effort or control will be required of you, making the process itself extremely passive and virtually stress free.
Although Brainwave Optimization technology relies on highly advanced knowledge of computer science and human brain function, the process is safe, simple, straightforward and effective. It is also backed by extensive research, scientific peer review, and multiple clinical trials (some ongoing) at a prominent medical facility.

BWO: What to Expect
Essentially, in simple terms, the BWO process feels very much like experiencing a deep relaxation or meditative state. At times, and often much needed, clients may even fall asleep. But, even in this resting state, the brain is still optimizing in profound ways. The overall goal, then, is to help clients have a relaxing and transformative experience so that their brain is able to shift in the most meaningful and positive ways.
